How can I plan my booking to make the most of the studio time?

We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early and asking your guests to do the same. Please allow 10 minutes of your studio time for setup and sound checks.

What's the minimum time I can book the studio for?

The minimum booking duration is two hours.

What happens if we go over our scheduled time?

We are typically fully booked and asked that you plan to stay within your time slot. If you run over by more than 5 minutes, you'll be charged for an extra half hour. Going over by more than 30 minutes is billed at time and a half.

Do you offer package rates for recurring or multi-day bookings?

Yes. We offer a bulk booking package — book 10 hours, get 2 free (12 hours for the price of 10). This is popular with recurring clients. Multi-day bookings are available but not discounted.

Can I tour the studio before I book?

Absolutely! We'd be delighted to show you around. Just call, text, or email us to arrange a viewing.

How do I confirm a pencilled-in booking?

Please confirm with us via call, text, or email. We'll follow up with your booking link — completing this will officially secure your slot in our calendar.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel within 14 days but more than 48 hours in advance, we'll issue studio credit. Cancellations within 48 hours are considered lost bookings and are not eligible for credit.

Where is the studio and how accessible is it?

Finchley Studios is just two minutes from Finchley Central Underground Station. We're located at 1 Dollis Mews, N3 1HH — just off Regent's Park Road, opposite the Travelodge. We're easily accessible via bus, car, or tube, and about an hour from Heathrow by Underground.

Can I park easily when bringing gear or team members?

Yes. There are two free parking spaces in the mews beside the studio entrance available upon request, and paid parking nearby. Please let us know in advance if you'll be unloading gear — we may be able to store items for you ahead of your session.

Is the studio sound-treated for professional audio and podcast recording?

Yes, all our studios are fully soundproofed.

Is there on-site support for setup and technical needs?

Yes. A senior engineer is available with every booking to assist with setup and technical requirements when you book a Gold or Platinum package. A technician provides basic lighting support on Silver Package bookings.

What equipment is available on-site?

Your equipment list will be provided based on your production requirements. The following is available for Gold and Platinum bookings:

Can you help with livestreams or remote interviews?

Yes, we support livestreams and remote interviews via Riverside FM, Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.

Do you support green screen productions with lighting?

Yes, our green screen cove includes full professional lighting as part of every booking.

Is a teleprompter or autocue available?

Yes, available and operated by our technician when you book our Platinum Package.

Can I bring my own crew and equipment?

Absolutely. Please share a call sheet and crew list for security. Let us know if we can assist with unloading or gear storage.

Is free WiFi available for uploads, streaming, or collaboration?

Yes, we provide high-speed internet access free of charge.

Can I customize the set to suit my brand or concept?

Yes, and we encourage it! Please share reference images or design ideas in advance so we can assist you.

Can I use multiple sets in one session?

Yes, multi-set bookings are possible. Get in touch with your requirements and we'll help arrange it.

Do you offer editing or post-production services?

Yes. We provide professional editing services. Please explore our editing packages or contact us to discuss your project.

Can you deliver social clips, trailers, or reels?

Yes. Reels are included in our Silver Plus and Gold Plus Packages. Additional clips or trailers can be purchased as add-ons.

How long does editing take?

Most edits take around 7 days to complete or send for review. If your package includes a revision, please allow an additional 5–7 days.

Are your rates inclusive of VAT?

No. A 20% UK VAT charge is added at checkout.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, as well as bank transfers.

When is payment due?

Payment is due at least 7 days before your booking date, or immediately for bookings made within 7 days.
